The Australian and New Zealand private air charter and inbound tourism wholesaling firms had two websites side-by-side, Pionair.com, and Pionair.com.au which I designed and maintained through three iterations between 2003–2009. Best-in-class colour-managed workflow hub / digital proofing software solution, brainchild of brilliant friend pre-press professional Hjórtur Kristínsson, named by me ‘Absolute-Proof ’, launched in 1998, this was the first iteration of the web design I designed for the product launch. The launch was aligned with Hugo showing at the Drupa print fair in Dusseldorf that year. The AbsoluteProof website was developed in collaboration with a web design firm in Reykjavik, Iceland.

As a brand builder I approached web design in 1998 with almost two decades of the experience of daily work in graphic design, working alongside great designers in advertising, design, illustration and photography so I was inspired, had a real enthusiasm to design great web experiences. I was inspired to confront the the limits of my knowledge and embrace the future of graphic design. I wanted to use this new media to communicate visually in attractive and useful ways.
