Art for reproduction. Shaun Waugh painting the Maori kowhaiwhai design onto a sheet of translucent Mylar using a No.3 sable brush, ‘Plum tree’ photo opaque fluid and a drawing bridge. This painted design was reduced in the darkroom and made into a screenprinting photo-stencil and printed around the waistband of the shirt, front and back to complete the Jewelled Gecko garment print.
