Convair CV580 VH-PDV taking off from Darwin, a dynamic air-to-air view, of the aircraft newly refurbished and sporting the new specialised Pionair aircraft ‘fluid’ livery’. Designed by Shaun Waugh as part of the 2006 Pionair rebrand project. The blue and white livery with a wave design that appears to flow across the fuselage. The designer notes the complexity of creating the mask on the aircraft for the spray painter to paint the design due to the compound curves of the wave form being applied to the compound curve of the aircraft fuselage surface.
